Mapping The Terrain
Exploring, Guiding, and Getting Lost
In order to make meaning of our worlds, our thoughts and our new encounters that jostle against our current paradigms, we map. We map to gather, curate and make sense of our fields (art and education) and our maps often open up new pathways for future practice. Our maps are subjective, iterative, recursive, constructivist and not necessarily linear. Our process often circles back upon and even contradicts ideas previously explored. This is a reflection of the liminal, interstitial nature of the terrains we are exploring.
